Core Values
The things we are passionate about and want to pass on to the next generation.
The Kingdom of God
“In every Christian's heart there is a cross and a throne. We must put allow Jesus to put our self interests and flesh on the Cross, so He can take His rightful place on the throne.”
The Way of Jesus
We believe that the Way of Jesus is central to everything we do. Jesus is not merely our savior, He is our rabbi, teacher, and master. We want to help students understand that following Jesus is meant to be the central purpose of their lives, and there is so much joy to be found in embracing the teachings and ethics of Jesus and living out His Way in every aspect of our lives.
The Narrow Way
“Enter by the narrow gate. Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and few who find it.”
In The World, But Not Of It.
We believe that it is important for Christians to understand that being in the world does not mean being of it. In a world that is lost in darkness, Christians are called to carry the light of Jesus into the dark, becoming "outposts of the Kingdom of Heaven in a world of darkness.”
Christian Service Within The Local Church
We want to help students understand that Christianity is not a spectator sport, where it is up to the pastor of your church to do all the work (and you just sit on the sidelines and half-heartedly cheer.) No, every Christian is called to ministry, whether you work at a church or not!
Ministry doesn’t just happen within Church walls.
While many may be called to pastoral ministry and serve on staff at a church, we believe that young people can also be called to preach and lead worship even if they never stand on a stage, shepherd even if they aren't hired to do so, and make disciples even if they have no official role or title.
